Purpose
The Student Valet Program operates each morning in the student drop-off zone and is supervised by staff members. Our student valets are in 5th and 6th grade. They dress in high visibility vests and welcome arriving students with a friendly smile. The goal of this program is to promote safety, reduce traffic congestion and demonstrate good manners.
Responsibilities
Student Valets are required to be at school by 7:15am during their assigned week. They will stand in the yellow drop-off zone and open doors to greet students and families between 7:20-7:30am. Student Valet services will not be utilized during rainy days.
Safety
All student valets will be issued a high visibility safety vest and will not be responsible for traffic direction. They will only open doors on the yellow zone passenger side of the car and will be supervised by staff members on morning duty.
Student must have a signed permission slip in order to participate. Please speak to your child's teacher if they are interested.
